Decking

The four things that decide it.
- Age. Under 12 years with one problem: repair. Over 18 with three: the math flips.
- Spread. One slope or every slope? Isolated damage repairs; system-wide wear doesn't.
- What's under it. Soft decking or wet insulation means the repair is only the visible part.
- The next storm. A roof that's at risk before hail season is a claim waiting to happen — sometimes a repair now is the cheapest replacement you'll ever buy.

Yes. An A grade is a handshake and a date to look again. We'd rather be the roofer you call in ten years.
How do you find a roof leak?
From the attic first. Most leaks are a pipe boot, a nail pop, a flashing or a vent, and the water path in the attic shows which one before anyone climbs onto the roof. Then we photograph the source and price the repair in writing.

Catch the water, switch off any circuit near it, photograph everything and stay off the roof. Then call us and explain what is happening: the local team confirms availability, helps you assess the next step and arranges the inspection, and a proper tarp or a temporary dry-in keeps the water out until the permanent repair.
Is the repair covered by a warranty?
Repairs carry a workmanship warranty in writing on the invoice. Full replacements carry the Mammoth Two Tusk Limited Lifetime Warranty: our 10-year workmanship warranty plus the manufacturer's limited lifetime material warranty.
Can a repair be claimed on insurance?
Sometimes — storm damage often qualifies, wear and tear doesn't. We document it either way and tell you honestly which one you have. We never touch your deductible; that's the law in Texas (HB 2102) and it's how we work.
