Let us know, by submitting a form here on our site , or giving us a call, that you would like a free damage assessment, and/or free estimate for your roof. Our inspections and estimates for the Mammoth Virtual Roofing Platform (MVRP), just like our normal process, are always at no cost or obligation. We love shaking our customers' hand when we meet them, but in today's market, social interactions like these pose a danger, so our MVRP has modified our introductory inspection to avoid physical contact.
We will contact you to schedule an inspection at your home. Although it is not necessary for you to be at your home when we inspect your property, you can schedule a time that is convenient for you so that you can be there if you like, when your Mammoth PC performs our Best in the Industry damage inspection. We provide our customers access to their private Mammoth Portal, a private, secure website where we can share photos and documents to our customers.
Mammoth uses the leading video conferencing tools to help our customers through this process. We use this tool to review our damage findings, your proposal/estimates, and the process with Mammoth and your insurance company, and details regarding the installation of your roof system. If after your virtual meeting with your Mammoth Project Consultant, you feel we would be the best fit to help you through the process, we will send over our agreement digitally for your review and signature.
Mammoth will then work with your insurance company by meeting your adjuster to review the scope of damage and describe the scope necessary to complete the repairs. This is usually completed on-site. You can choose to meet with your adjuster or the Mammoth PC in person, but it is not necessary.
Once the roof is approved and Mammoth has an agreed scope, we will schedule your project's material delivery. We request our suppliers "ground load" the material instead of "roof load" the material to prevent damage caused by falling debris or shifting materials. Not common in our industry, but we feel very important to honor our commitment to safety for our clients.
Most of our roofing projects can be completed in just one day. We protect the landscaping and AC units. We tear off the layers of shingle and felt down to the decking to make sure there is not any rotten wood. We use starter, drip edge, ridge, ice shield (in valleys, around all penetrations, roof/wall joints), and six nails in our shingles on every job. We go above and beyond manufacturer guidelines and codes. We thoroughly clean the jobsite using magnets to retrieve nails and loose metal.

Notice that payment is here at the very end of our process. We do not collect down payments. The first time we collect a check is after we have met your adjuster onsite, received the "go-ahead" to replace your roof, and have already installed your new roof. Our MVRP protocol would have you wire us the funds (at no additional cost), pay by credit card (fees may apply), or send us a check.
Here's the best part. As you probably already know, we don't just install shingles, we install roofing systems. The manufacturers we represent , because we install their "systems" including felt, starter, ridge and ice shield from their brand, allow us to register your warranty with them as well. You receive two warranties. The manufacturer warranty (Owens Corning, Certainteed, GAF) and the Mammoth Two Tusk 50 Year Warranty for Material and Labor (hyperlink), the best in the industry.
